Ruud Luttikhuizen, who has over 15 years of experience in international business development and sales, founded his company in January 2001. His experience in international business include multiple years of interim sales management within the chemical and software industries while temporary based in Austria, Canada, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway and the UK. In June 2006 he opens his new office in Australia.

Lighthouse Norway A/S is an independent sales consultancy company and was established after that several companies indicated the lack of sales activities in Europe & Scandinavia. These first customers of Lighthouse Norway A/S wanted to take part in the greater European marketplace and therefore contracted us for their regional sales & business development.

Our strategy is to be close to our clients and their customers.

While most obstacles to trading within the EU-25 market are disappeared, and more countries are included in the EES-treaty, there is an excellent opportunity to increase business for any international company regardless of size.

However, we have experienced that companies within well-funded niches of the market such as software and parts of the IT market, have really benefit from this opportunity. We also believe that the public sources on market intelligence and statistics as well as independent business consultants have a much better understanding, or control if you like, on increasing export opportunities and that there is a lack of local -and practical support to get things done when it comes to increase sales internationally, especially for smaller sized companies.

Our mission: to help small- and medium sized companies increase sales in a cost-effective and professional manner by "hands-on" approach and close cooperation with our clients.

We opened our Perth offices the 1^st of June, 2006 for clients in the entire APAC region.
